Ingredients:

3 tbsp. water, divided

2 cloves garlic, chopped fine

2 tbsp. onion, chopped fine

½ tsp fresh ginger, grated

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp pepper

¼ tsp red pepper flakes

1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice

1 lb. asparagus, trimmed & cut in 1-inch pieces

1 lb. medium shrimp, peeled, deveined, tails removed

1 tsp lemon zest

3 tbsp. fresh basil, chopped

Directions:

1- Add 2 tablespoons water, garlic, and onion to the cooking pot and set to sauté on medium heat. Cook 1 minute, stirring.

2- Add remaining water, ginger, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, lemon juice, and asparagus, stir to combine.

3- Add the lid and cook 2-3 minutes until asparagus starts to turn bright green.

4- Add the shrimp and stir. Recover and cook another 3-5 minutes or until shrimp are pink and asparagus is fork-tender.

5- Stir in the lemon zest and basil and serve.
